Weller WESD51 Carrying Tray

This is a carrying tray from my Weller WESD51 soldering iron.  I got tried of boxing everything up every time I had to work on something remote so I made this tray to carry all of my soldering essentials.

It was design in five pieces with a split base because the base was to large to fit my print bed.

The joint was super glued together but also overlaps the screws for the handle for added strength.

The based glued together. (Yes my print setting are bad… I’m more concerned with usage over looks.)

The handle mounts with some heat set inserts.

So does the rear cord wrap.

This is the mount for the Soldering Iron Tip Cleaner cup.

I’d like to say I was trying to raise it up above the solder holder but I screwed up dimension for the original mount on the base so this was a fix. It does work out better raised up though so…. silver linings I guess.
