Ceptar – R/C Snow Racer

This was just an idea I was kicking around one boring winter day, it was built using the homemade skis from my Cessna. It was powered by an O.S. 10 FP with a pusher prop. It went pretty good on the hard packed stuff but liked to push under the softer snow. Its since been retired.

It was basically just 2 channels… 1 for Throttle and 1 for front nose steering.

It was a quick fun project.

The biggest challenge at the time was finding a pusher type prop.

I even though about making a wing for this and turning it into a plane.

Unfortunately I never got around to trying that.

It was fun to play around with in the snow but if you flipped it and had to walk out to get it you pretty much ruined the good snow with foot prints.
