This was just an attempt to build a small hand launch glider. It has a Plastic (styrene) fuselage (which I vacuum formed), Fiberglass tail boom, built up balsa wing, and Balsa tail surfaces.

I tried hand launching it a few times with disappointing results, so its next flight was on a ride up on a Hanger 9 Glider Launch.

Here it is strapped to the Launcher. I rigged the launch so I have control of when the glider is released. The launch servo lightly plugs into the bottom of the plane and upon release it unplugs. This way it can be mounted to any high wing trainer and the trainer doesn’t have to have a 5th channel.

I flew it a few times but it was nothing spectacular.  I still have the plane and the launcher somewhere.
