This was just another one of my designs. The Fuselage is sort of like a Sukhoi, (hence the name) and the wing was taking from my duraplane project. The canopy was cut from a Coke bottle, the cowl came from a Poweraid sports drink bottle, and the No Fear graphic was cut from Monokote. There’s not much more to say except it flys great.
This is the Poweraid cowling which everything was built around.
The Build
Day 1 – Drew up the plan.
Day 2 – Basic frame layout.
Day 3 – Basic sheeting done
Day 4 – Fitted wing and gear.
Day 5 – Sheeting completed and engine mounted.
Day 6 – Installed cowl
Day 7 – Finished and Painted Cowl, Built Vertical Stab/Rudder.
Day 8 – Built Horizontal Stab/Elevator.
Day 9 – Base Covering Done.
Day 10 – Covered Tail Control Surfaces.
Day 11 – Canopy and Radio Installation.
