This was my 2nd plane after the Kyosho Cessna, it was the first plane a designed and built myself. I flew it 6 or 7 times and it flew all right but it wasn’t prefect and after a few times of having engine problems I tried to redesign it so the tank was better positioned.

I flipped the fuselage, remounted the engine so it was vertical, installed tricycle gear, and put a duel tail on it just for the hell of it. I never really got to fly the second redesign. The engine quit right after the first hand launch and the bottom of the plane was torn off.

So a salvaged what I could and came up with a new fuselage. The third times a charm because now it flew awesome.

I keep the tricycle gear which worked well and is easier to land with.

While this plane was nothing special it fly great and I flew the shit out of it.

I ended up pulling off the gear to save weight and it flew even better after that.

My First Mishap. I caught the tail on a low inverted pas and it ripped both tail surfaces right off and the plane kept going. I was able to put it down with out any other damage (not that I had a choice in the matter.)

This was my second mishap. I was pretty much forced to put it down. I was coming in for a landing and someone decided to do an unannounced low pass. I put it back together after this and flew the plane for years. I ended up retiring this plane and just threw it away one day, which I regret to this day ……. I loved that plane.
