Clamp On Spotting Scope Mount

This was just a quick simple project to make a quick clamp on mount for my spotting scope.  It uses a cheap Ratcheting Bar Clamp/Spreader commonly available for around $5 from places like Harbor Freight. I should have patented this because after I showed up at my club with it everyone had them the next week.

You can drill as many holes along the bar for height as you need but I just used the ones that were there because I mainly use this standing up for Bullseye shooting.

The bar is heated up with a propane torch and a 90 degree twist is bent into it.

Now you have a simple clamp on mount that can be quickly released.
